A leading high-tech engineering and manufacturing organisation is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join its growing procurement team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced purchasing professional to play a key role in new product introduction (NPI) projects, helping to build robust supply chains that support innovation, quality, and on-time delivery.

Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams, the successful candidate will take ownership of supply chain activities across multiple projects, ensuring components are sourced efficiently, suppliers are engaged effectively, and commercial objectives are achieved. This position offers a friendly and welcoming working environment where collaboration is encouraged, alongside excellent opportunities for training, development, and career progression.

Requirements:

  • Procurement experience, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification in a technical discipline
  • CIPS Level 4 qualification or equivalent purchasing qualification
  • Strong supplier management, sourcing, and procurement skills
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or SAP
