This is a rare opportunity to join at the start of something big. The excitement of a startup with the security of a big, established company. We are helping a large UK-owned software group to build and scale a world-class, AI-first engineering organisation in Manchester. They have very ambitious plans and the budget to make it happen.
As one of the first hires in the newly established UX function, you will be supporting the shaping of the vision, strategy, and execution of user experience across a new product portfolio. The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for defining not just how the product looks, but how it works, how it speaks, and how it scales. You’ll work closely with the newly established engineering and product teams. This role offers the chance to influence technology standards across multiple greenfield projects.
What we’re looking for:
- Systems Thinker: 5+ years of Product Design experience in B2B SaaS or data-heavy applications.
- Pragmatic Innovator: You know how to balance the "perfect" design vision with the realities of technical constraints and legacy migration.
- Interaction Specialist: Experience designing conversational flows, progressive disclosure patterns, or adaptive interfaces is highly desirable. You understand that effective interaction design goes beyond traditional form-based patterns.
- System & Data Modelling: You understand principles of object-oriented design and can define object-action relationships clearly.
- Facilitator: You can lead workshops with diverse stakeholders, mapping out current legacy processes and reimagining them as automated flows.
- AI experience would be highly desirable.
Benefits include an industry-leading benefits package, with hybrid working in their central Manchester office. If you’d like to discuss further, please apply now.
