Data Solution Architect (AWS)

We’re supporting a client on a short-term assignment for a Data Solution Architect to lead a strategic data transformation initiative.

This is a 13‑week contract (with potential for extension) focused on implementing an off‑the‑shelf AWS Mesh Data solution, in collaboration with AWS directly. You’ll act as the client’s technical lead, guiding design decisions and ensuring the solution aligns with enterprise‑level data architecture needs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Representing the client in technical discussions with AWS.
• Leading design approvals and ensuring scalability for operational needs.
• Translating business use cases into robust, scalable technical designs.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders across governance, BI, and AI.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in AWS architecture and enterprise‑level data design
• Experience with data integration across diverse sources (SaaS, on‑prem, cloud).
• Familiarity with Data Mesh, Data Lake, and hybrid architectural patterns
• Expertise in AI & AI Gateways
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Strong documentation practices supporting development and operational handover
• Knowledge of AWS services for data governance, cataloguing, access control, and compliance
