CMM Inspector – West Midlands
We are working with an industry-leading client who are looking for a CMM Inspector to join their quality control team. Our client is looking for a candidate to support their manufacturing processes by ensuring the quality and precision of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience performing inspections with Zeiss Calypso and PC-DMIS.
- Develop CMM programs from CAD models against engineering drawings.
- Conduct AS9102 First Article Inspections and CMM Program Prove Outs.
- Collaborate with the Quality Team to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Support lean initiatives and cost reduction activities.
- Provide technical support for new product introductions (NPI).
- Perform Manual inspections using hand tools and vision systems.
- Provide technical support for Operator inspectors.
- None conformance report writing.
Qualifications
- HNC/HND in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inspection and programming with CMMs.
- Strong ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively at all levels.
