About the Role:
Our client is seeking an Assembly & Test Technician to join them in Wolverhampton. This role is crucial in designing and maintaining bespoke, high-profile mechanical products for the aerospace industry. You\’ll be working with exceptionally close tolerances, ensuring the highest standards of precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fault Finding: Diagnose issues with flight-critical components and compile detailed survey reports.
* Assembly: Precisely assemble flight components.
* Inspection: Use measuring equipment like Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, and Height Gauges to inspect components.
* Documentation: Work from engineering drawings and maintenance manuals, complete quality audits, and manage the release to service of repaired actuators.
