Our Commercial Litigation and Employment department, based at our Wynyard Office, are looking to recruit a full-time Legal Secretary to join their team. The role is office-based, working Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm with one hour for lunch each day.
Providing full secretarial and administrative support to the lawyers in the team, including:
- File management
- Preparing correspondence and documents through fast and accurate audio typing and word processing
- Handling client contact via telephone and in person, dealing with queries such as initial enquiries, providing updates and taking messages in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm's standards of client care
- Managing diaries, arranging appointments and coordinating meetings
- Opening, maintaining and closing files using the firm's case management system
- Storing and retrieving client files
- Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch
- Providing support to other secretaries and departments as required
Experience of working in a legal environment is desirable.
