An experienced Treasury Manager with a track record of implementing treasury controls and processes in a scaling FinTech.

The challenge: To play a vital role in managing the company's treasury operations, ensuring optimal cash management and financial risk mitigation.

Where you’ll work: This role will be based in our Hove or London Office 2 days a week.

Job Summary: As Tillo continues to scale its global footprint, we are seeking a highly analytical, hands-on Treasury Manager to take immediate ownership of our global cash operations, capital structures, and advanced liquidity forecasting frameworks. Operating within a high-volume fintech ecosystem driven by complex client floats and commercial brand credit mechanics, this high-visibility role requires an exceptional finance professional. You will be responsible for mastering intricate operational fund flows, establishing an airtight daily cash positioning rhythm, and designing rigorous compliance frameworks to optimise our capital structure and support corporate initiatives.

Day to day this role will:

  • Establish Daily Cash Positioning: Run tight, daily global cash positioning across multiple legal entities and currencies to ensure flawless operational execution and strategic cash movements.
  • Optimise Working Capital: Manage and monitor the delicate balance of client floats and pre-funded brand credit cycles, ensuring daily funding availability without creating operational pinches.
  • Own Rolling Forecasts: Build, maintain, and stress-test robust 13-week and 12-month rolling cash flow models to accurately project working capital needs and corporate funding liquidity.
  • Design and maintain strict treasury controls to track client fund flows, ensuring clear visibility, risk mitigation, and operational segregation between corporate liquidity and client cash.
  • Take full operational ownership of corporate credit facilities, confidently managing drawing mechanics, optimal utilisation, and repayment cycles.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive financial compliance frameworks, including the proactive calculation of leverage/liquidity ratios and performance tracking against structured internal and external benchmarks.
  • Translate complex treasury positions, liquidity profiles, and capital efficiency metrics into clear, actionable insights directly for the Head of FP&A and the CFO.
  • Act as the lead / super-user for global corporate banking portals, owning user permissions, secure validation controls, and navigating international payment rails (SEPA, ACH, SWIFT).
  • Design and execute corporate foreign exchange (FX) hedging strategies to protect commercial margins against currency volatility as international volume scales.
  • Evaluate, select, and onboard tier-1 global banking partners to support Tillo's expansion into new international markets and currencies.
  • Once daily operations and reporting are thoroughly optimised, evaluate the long-term treasury technology roadmap, including the potential selection and phased implementation of a Treasury Management System (TMS).

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of progressive treasury experience, operating as a heavy Individual Contributor or Manager within a private equity backed environment (mid size tier firm).
  • Direct experience in FinTech, payments, marketplaces, or scale-ups where managing highly complex, multi-currency transactional fund flows is a core operational reality.
  • Proven experience hands-on managing corporate financing facilities (e.g., RCFs or revolving credit lines), calculating complex financial covenants, and delivering formal reporting packages.
  • Exceptional financial modelling skills with a proven track record of building and running 13-week rolling cash forecasts and daily cash positioning frameworks from scratch.
  • A strong conceptual and practical understanding of working capital optimisation, specifically dealing with client pre-funding, floats, and commercial vendor credit terms.
  • Deep knowledge of corporate banking platforms, international payment rails (ACH, SEPA, SWIFT), and executing commercial FX hedging strategies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the confidence to act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and Head of FP&A on critical liquidity and capital decisions.

Benefits:

  • Enhanced annual leave of 26 days per annum.
  • Private Medical care through Vitality.
  • Employee Incentive Scheme.
  • Access to Tillo’s Storefront with discounts & gift card vouchers.
  • Hybrid Working.
  • Top spec equipment including laptop, mouse, keyboard, monitor.
  • Anniversary gifts.
  • Monthly breakfasts, drinks, snacks and events.
  • Team Learning & Development budget.
