Who we’re looking for: An Event Marketing Manager to own our events programme across our TilloConnect series and major industry events.
The challenge: To not only plan and own all in-person events as we continue to scale but also to drive our digital events strategy and grow our webinar series.
Where you’ll work: This role will be based in our Hove office 2-3 days a week.
Job Summary: We are looking for an Event Marketing Manager to join Tillo on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This role will own the planning and delivery of Tillo’s events programme and associated campaigns across the UK. You will manage the events calendar, deliver standout customer experiences through the TilloConnect series, and support the commercial team with high-impact industry events, exhibitions, campaigns, and speaking opportunities. You will also play a key role in shaping and delivering Tillo’s digital events strategy, including the growth of a webinar series designed to engage prospects and customers at scale. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution. You will plan and deliver events end-to-end, working closely with sales and marketing to ensure activity supports pipeline growth, strengthens customer relationships, and delivers measurable commercial impact.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own and manage Tillo’s events calendar, including industry conferences, exhibitions, hosted experiences, and networking opportunities across the UK.
- Lead the planning and delivery of the TilloConnect event series, supporting its continued growth and impact.
- Support the development and delivery of a digital events programme, including webinars, to drive engagement with target audiences and support demand generation activity.
- Work closely with the commercial and sales teams to maximise the impact of industry events where Tillo is attending, sponsoring, speaking, or exhibiting.
- Collaborate with the Email Marketing Manager to support pre-event and post-event marketing activity, including nurture sequences, attendee communications, and follow-up campaigns.
- Partner with the Creative team to develop event branding, activations, presentations, merchandise, and supporting assets that elevate the Tillo brand experience.
- Plan and deliver events end-to-end, including event strategy and objectives, venue sourcing and vendor management, budget management, delegate experience and engagement, event promotion and communications, on-site delivery and coordination.
- Support the creation of event-related content including speaker submissions, educational blog posts, event roundups, presentations, and award entries.
- Measure and report on event performance, including engagement, pipeline influence, attribution, and ROI.
- Use HubSpot and other marketing tools to support campaign execution, reporting, segmentation, and event attribution.
- Leverage AI tools to support campaign planning, creative ideation, copywriting, and operational efficiency.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B event marketing, with proven experience delivering high-quality events.
- Experience planning and executing events end-to-end, including logistics, vendor management, and on-site delivery.
- Experience supporting both in-person and digital events, including webinars or virtual event series.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with sales and commercial teams to deliver marketing activity that supports pipeline and revenue goals.
- Strong understanding of marketing performance metrics, including the sales and marketing funnel, pipeline generation, attribution, and ROI.
- Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM and marketing automation platform.
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and engaging content when needed.
- Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to interpret event performance data to inform decisions.
- Experience managing event budgets and external suppliers.
- A proactive, confident, and collaborative approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
- Experience within a SaaS, technology, fintech, or high-growth B2B environment is desirable.
- Interest in AI tools and modern marketing workflows is desirable.
