We operate in over 35 sites throughout Central Scotland, the North East of England and East Anglia. Due to our continued success and rapid growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quarry Manager based at our Ryeflatt Sand Safe and Efficient Operation of all the on-site equipment; Work closely andfollow instructions from the Production Manager; Follow the Quarry Development Plan; Meet site Productivity Targets; Integrate with and work as part of a small team; Maintaining existing and implementing new Standard Operating Procedures, Risk Assessments and Training; Managing and overseeing the safe operation of the Quarry and the planned preventative maintenance of all site equipment; Ensuring the Plant meets operational and production requirements; Proactively managing both mandatory training and developmental training of staff; Carry out additional Quarry Duties as required. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? At least 3 years experience managing and leading teams; Excellent awareness of current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation; Completed, or beworking towards, a SHE NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent); Excellent understanding of Quarry Regulations 1999 and ACOP; A good understanding of plant and machinery, including maintenance planning.
