Tillicoultry Quarries is a successful and fast-growing family-owned quarrying company and major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete, mortar, render and sports sand to the building and road construction industry. Due to our continued success and rapid growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Class 1 HGV Driver in Tulliallan. As a family business who have been in operation for over 90 years, we invest in our people and offer excellent training and career development opportunities. We also offer job security and regular overtime paid at an enhanced rate:

  • ~£15.11 per hour
  • ~ Overtime: Monday-Friday time and a half after 8 hours - £22.67
  • Saturday time and a half for the first 6 hours then double time
  • Sunday double time £30.22

Responsibilities include:

  • Carry out the delivery and collection of products to customer sites while maintaining company high standards of Health and Safety at all times.
  • Maintain the company vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness to represent the company at all times.
  • Comply with the WTD and EU driving rules to ensure full compliance is achieved with no infringements.
  • Ensure HGV licence and CPC cards are up to date and valid.

  • Concrete delivery
  • Internal stock delivery/transfer

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV license with CPC card.
  • Experience driving mixers would be beneficial.
  • Experience working with digital tachographs.
  • A flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business when required including alternate weekends.
