Tillicoultry Quarries is a successful and fast-growing family-owned quarrying company and major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete, mortar, render and sports sand to the building and road construction industry. We operate in over 35 sites throughout Central Scotland, the North East of England and East Anglia. Due to our continued success and rapid growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrician to be based across our East Anglia region. The successful candidates should be customer focused, reliable, well organised and be able to work well as part of a team in a busy site environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose and repair electrical problems across a variety of equipment.
  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards.
  • Developing and delivering preventative maintenance to keep sites safe and reliable.
  • Carry out maintenance checks and respond quickly to unplanned shutdowns.
  • Assist and carry out electrical installations.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Qualified Industrial Electrician (City & Guilds/ONC), ideally with BS7671 18th edition.
  • Conversant with the Electricity at Work Act.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, inverters, drivers, and motor control circuits.
  • Strong knowledge of LV isolation and electrical maintenance techniques.
  • Experience with medium/high voltage networks and switching.
  • Diagnostic skills and logical approach to fault-finding.
  • Proficient using hand/power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to use and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Management of on-site systems.
  • Self-motivated problem solver, able to work under own initiative.
  • IPAF Ticket (desirable).
  • Drivers Licence.
