THE ROLE
An excellent opportunity has arisen for Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers for our sites across Central Scotland. The successful candidates should be customer focused, reliable, well organised and be able to work well as part of a team in a busy site environment. Our HGV drivers are an integral part of our team, delivering our product to our customers and internally across our sites.

- We also offer job security and regular overtime paid at an enhanced rate:
- Monday-Friday – time and a half after 8 hours £22.67
- Saturday – time and a half for the first 6 hours then double time
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out the delivery and collection of products to customer sites while maintaining company high standards of Health and Safety at all times.
- Maintain the company vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness to represent the company at all times.
- Comply with the WTD and EU driving rules to ensure full compliance is achieved with no infringements.
- Ensure HGV licence and CPC cards are up to date and valid.
- Ensure vehicle is clean, safe and legally roadworthy.
- Manage drivers hours on tachograph.
- Legally compliant breaks.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Valid HGV license with CPC card.
- Experience driving mixers and tippers would be beneficial.
- Experience working with digital tachographs.
- Strong awareness of Driver Regulations specifically relating to Driver Hours & Working Time Regulations.
- A keen interest and commitment to Health and Safety, and Environmental matters.
- A flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business when required including alternate weekends.
