THE ROLE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Quarry Operative based at our Hard Rock Quarry in Hillend (ML6 8NY).

The successful candidates should be customer focused, reliable, well organised and be able to work well as part of a team in a busy site environment.

Our hard rock units supply all our asphalt plants and concrete plants making us self‑sufficient for feed material.

We also supply both deliveries and uplifts of single size aggregate, fill materials and washed/recycled material.

We pride ourselves on both service and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintaining a high standard of health and safety measures on site.
  • Assist current team with day to day running of crushing & screening plants.
  • Maintaining a high level of housekeeping standards.
  • General day to day maintenance on site.
