Human Resources Manager
Location: Dedham
Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Salary: $24/hr
TILL provides essential support to adults with developmental disabilities, learning differences, acquired brain injury, and other specialized needs through a wide range of housing options, from structured, staffed, small group living to individualized support options.
The Human Resources Manager is an integral position within the Human Resources Department and will report to the Vice President of Human Resources.
Essential Job Functions:- Possess knowledge of each department’s individual needs.
- Be familiar with all vacancies within the agency and the available schedules.
- Maintain a database of all candidates in Great Plains.
- Input and colour code applications into Human Resources database.
- Prepare new employee booklets.
- Enter all training information into Human Resources database.
- Create above and beyond awards for employees.
- Design, distribute and maintain job opportunity flyers for internal and external recruitment efforts.
- Copy printed materials and correspondence.
- Attend required trainings and scheduled supervision meetings.
- Assist the Vice President of Human Resources in other Human Resource functions as they arise.
- Post jobs online at a variety of colleges and universities.
- BA preferred.
- Two years’ experience in Human Services or related field.
- Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
- Proficient computer skills required.
- A current driver’s license and a car are required.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent telephone skills required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
