About The Role
We have a great opportunity for a Partnerships Manager to join our Land and Planning team on a permanent basis. This role will oversee our Central and Western regions and can be based from either location.
The responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Land, Planning, Technical, Commercial, and Sales teams to advise on affordable housing during site design, land viability studies, and land acquisition, integrating at the concept stage to maximize project returns.
- Preparing and tendering unit sales across the regional area in partnership with agents and consultants to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
- Coordinating the construction process, ensuring specifications are adhered to on-site, and working closely with construction teams from start to finish.
- Leading meetings with colleagues, Registered Providers, agents, and external agencies regarding affordable housing, representing the regional business.
- Building strong partnerships with regional and national Registered Providers and for-profit investors.
- Working with solicitors on contracts and all legal matters related to the sale of affordable housing, both pre- and post-contract.
- Preparing reports and viability assessments.
About You
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) with a proven track record in delivering profitable affordable housing projects within a developer or housing association.
- Strong negotiating and numeracy skills.
- Experience in contractual negotiations and section 106 agreements.
- A collaborative team player who is responsible and accountable.
