About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join our friendly team, based in the Eastern region at our Potton site, SG19, on a permanent contract.

Duties include:

  • Supporting the Site Manager in coordinating trades, and directing labour and materials to meet the production programme
  • Collaborating with the Sales Team to ensure attendance at Build/Sales meetings, adherence to procedures, and inspections of show homes
  • Assuming responsibilities as delegated by the Site Manager and deputising for the Site Manager when required
  • Supporting the on-site Construction team with resources, guidance, and clear responsibilities
  • Providing support to site workers through communication, training, and workload organization
  • Delivering excellent customer service in line with company standards
  • Implementing and complying with Safety, Health, and Environment policies, legal requirements, and best practices
  • Promoting a positive organizational culture aligned with company values
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients from construction through to project completion, ensuring value delivery

About You

  • NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Management or equivalent
  • CSCS – Gold Supervisor card
  • SMSTS certification
  • First Aid at Work certification
  • Scaffold Inspection Basic – CISRS
  • Willingness to achieve BREGS and Fire Safety certifications during probation
  • Environment Supervision in Construction Training – SSP (SEATS)
  • Experience working to an established build programme
  • Supervision of site-based labour force
  • Proven ability to meet delivery targets in residential development
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Extensive knowledge of construction trades, legislation, and safety standards
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
