About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join a friendly team working from within our Central region, based at our Hawksbury site on a permanent contract.
Duties include:
- Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, and directing labour and materials to meet the production programme.
- Work with the Sales Team to ensure regular Build/Sales meetings are attended, procedures are followed, and inspections of show homes are carried out.
- Take responsibility for duties as determined by the Site Manager; deputise when required.
- Support the Site Manager in ensuring the construction team is well-resourced and guided.
- Provide support to site workers through communication, training, and workload organization.
- Deliver excellent customer service according to company guidelines.
- Implement and comply with Safety, Health, and Environment policies, legal requirements, and best practices.
- Develop a positive organizational culture aligned with company values.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction beyond construction and delivering value.
About You
- Experience with established build programmes.
- Assertive to ensure targets are met by the team and trades.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Chartered member of the Institute of Builders or qualified to NVQ level in Construction Management, or experienced tradesman.
- Knowledge of construction trades, legislation, Health and Safety, NHBC, and Building Regulations.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
