We are looking for a talented and driven A&R Lead to work across both our publishing and label operations. You will report directly to the Head of A&R and the Co-Founders/Co-Presidents, with hands-on involvement in the record-making process from early creative development through to final delivery. You’ll be joining a respected, close-knit team where collaboration and collective success are central to how we work.
Key Responsibilities
- Label – Actively seek out and identify new artist talent for the label through DSPs, live shows, and industry networks.
- Support the creative finishing process on releases, working alongside artists, producers, and mixers to take records from demo to final master.
- Identify and fill creative gaps: topline, co-writers, alternative mixes, additional production.
- Collaborate with marketing, sync, and digital teams to ensure releases are creatively aligned with campaign strategy.
- Publishing & Sessions – Help curate and run writing camps and co-writing sessions across our King’s Cross campus and international writing markets.
- Build and develop a network of songwriters, topliners, and producers for session placement.
- Support the development of our publishing roster through cuts, pitches, and co-writer introductions.
- Identify and pursue new publishing signings across the wider songwriter and producer community.
- Assist with session logistics: casting, scheduling, studio allocation, and follow-through on outputs.
- Industry – Represent Tileyard Music at industry events, conferences, and international markets.
- Contribute to team pipeline reviews, signing discussions, and broader A&R strategy.
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in A&R, publishing, or a related music industry role.
- Some experience or strong understanding of the record finishing process.
- Experience of or involvement in writing sessions and camps.
- A developing network across artists, songwriters, producers, managers, and publishers.
- A genuine team player who thrives in a collaborative environment — invested in collective success.
- Strong ears and the confidence to back your creative instincts.
- Good knowledge of the current commercial landscape across a number of genres.
- Based in or able to commute to London.
