And now, we’re looking for a Head of Service who can help shape the next chapter for adult social care in Stockport.
This is a senior leadership role with system-wide influence. You’ll be the strategic lead for mental health, learning disabilities and autism across adult social care. Leading transformation and championing innovation, you’ll embed a strengths-based culture that puts individuals and outcomes first. You’ll play a key role in integrated health and care delivery, driving forward new models of support in partnership with health providers, the voluntary sector, and lived-experience groups.
We are seeking someone with a deep understanding of statutory responsibilities and best practice in adult social care, along with a proven ability to deliver quality at scale. You’ll be accountable for managing risk, leading improvement, and ensuring services remain financially sustainable, inclusive, and responsive. Working with key internal and external partners, including residents, you’ll ensure services are reflective of the needs of the community.
