Salary: £60,000

Duration: 12‑month fixed‑term contract

Location: Home‑based, with national travel for key meetings and workshops

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

About the Opportunity

As Head of Projects – Operations, you’ll play a pivotal role in joining up people, processes and systems across Hft, helping translate organisational ambition into structured, sustainable delivery. You’ll bring structure, pace and alignment to transformation activity – coordinating programmes and workstreams, simplifying workflows, and building the frameworks that support operational excellence.

  • Embedding continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across teams.

  • An experienced project or programme professional with exposure to social care, public service, or mission‑driven organisations.
  • Highly organised, structured and collaborative, with strong analytical capability.
  • Skilled at influencing and coordinating across teams without direct line authority.
