We are working with a Housing Association who are seeking an experienced Governance Consultant to provide interim support during a busy period of central governance activity. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can operate confidently at board level while ensuring effective coordination and delivery across key governance processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Taking high-quality, accurate minutes at Board and senior meetings
  • Supporting the smooth running of governance processes and administration
  • Coordinating colleagues to ensure timely completion of actions and deliverables
  • Supporting organisation-wide governance activity, including a legal services review
  • Maintaining oversight of actions, deadlines and reporting requirements

About you:

  • Proven experience operating in a governance, company secretarial or committee services environment
  • Strong experience supporting Board or senior leadership meetings
  • Highly organised, with the ability to drive actions across multiple stakeholders
  • Confident communicator who can work across teams and build credibility quickly
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, interim environment
