About the Role

This is a leadership role with real impact. As Executive Director of Place, you will champion cultural and economic regeneration, leading flagship projects such as the new £25m theatre development, Hilton hotel, and the Station Quarter development. Your role will be to secure investment, drive commercial opportunities, and ensure that growth is sustainable and financially sound, delivering a bold regeneration agenda that makes Telford & Wrekin an exceptional place to live, work, and invest.

Collaboration will be key as you work with cabinet members, businesses, and stakeholders to deliver on our Pride in Our Community programme, ensuring that our investments translate into real benefits for residents. You will provide strategic direction while maintaining a sharp focus on operational delivery, ensuring high-quality services and effective partnership working.

About You

We are looking for a commercially astute, opportunity-driven leader with a passion for place-making and economic regeneration. Whether from the public or private sector, you will bring a track record of delivering large-scale projects, securing investment, and driving innovation.

You will have strategic vision and the ability to influence at the highest levels, ensuring strong partnerships with businesses, developers, and government agencies.
