We are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join our Building team, supporting the successful delivery of projects across sectors including healthcare and education within our West Midlands team. Reporting to the Senior Management Team, this is a key site-based role responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities, coordinating project teams, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

You will oversee site operations from commencement through to completion, maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams, you will drive programme performance while promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Duties
  • Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.
  • Chair site meetings, coordinate subcontractors and project teams, and proactively resolve construction issues.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, health & safety, environmental compliance, and company procedures.
  • Monitor progress against programme, maintain accurate site records and reporting, and support commercial performance.
  • Build strong client relationships, support project aftercare, and mentor members of the project team.
About You

You will be a proactive and organised construction professional with strong technical knowledge and experience delivering projects within a main contractor environment.

You will bring:

  • Experience delivering healthcare and/or education projects in a Site Manager role.
  • Strong technical construction knowledge with commercial and programme awareness.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using project planning software such as Asta Powerproject (desirable) and strong IT capability.
  • HNC qualification (or equivalent), CITB SMSTS, and an appropriate CSCS Card.
