As the Product Library Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the Tilbury Douglas Product Library Management (PLM) system. The role ensures that product data is accurate, complete, and maintained in line with company standards, and that manufacturers and internal users have appropriate access to the system. The Product Library Manager supports effective information management of product and procurement data by maintaining data integrity, supporting compliance, and enabling reliable use of product information.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operation of the Product Library Management (PLM) system
- Ensure all product data is present, accurate, consistent, and up to date
- Carry out regular data checks and quality reviews to maintain data integrity
- Manage manufacturer and supplier access, ensuring correct permissions and access
- Act as the main point of contact for manufacturers regarding product data and access
- Support internal users with Product Library queries and system use
- Maintain and apply Product Library standards, processes, and guidance
- Work with Digital, Information Management, and project teams to support system improvements
- Assist with reporting on Product Library usage and data quality
Required Skills and Attributes
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of data accuracy
- Ability to manage and communicate with multiple stakeholders, including external manufacturers
- Good understanding of data governance and access control
- Organised, methodical, and able to manage competing priorities
- Confident communicator with both technical and non-technical users
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams
- Familiarity with AEC tools: Revit
- Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and ideally a Design or STEM subject
- Basic computer literacy
- Willingness to learn and take feedback constructively
- Previous experience in use of a PLM (Sovelia)
- Use of Revit Families
