Tilbury Douglas is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Yorkshire Regional Building team. This is a senior leadership role for someone ready to step up or further develop their operational management career. Reporting to the Regional Director, you’ll lead construction operations across 6–8 projects (£4m–£80m p.a.), ensuring safe, high-quality, on-time and on-budget delivery across the region.
What you’ll do:
- Lead regional construction operations, resources and delivery performance
- Drive Health & Safety excellence and quality standards
- Manage senior project teams and develop future leaders
- Oversee programmes, KPIs, QA and supply chain performance
- Support work winning, bids and client engagement
- Build strong client, consultant and supply-chain relationships
What we’re looking for:
- Degree/HNC in Construction Management, Surveying or similar
- Proven senior management experience on projects up to £80m
- Strong knowledge of D&B and traditional contracts (NEC/JCT)
- Commercially aware, technically strong leader
- SMSTS, CSCS, professional membership (CIOB/RICS/ICE) preferred
- Full UK driving licence
