We are looking to recruit a Talent Acquisition Partner to drive proactive attraction and recruitment for our Regional Build and Paragon business units. This role is key to transforming our recruitment function from reactive hiring to strategic, forward-looking talent acquisition.
You’ll identify, engage, and secure top talent using LinkedIn, job boards, AI sourcing tools, internal talent pools, and other innovative channels. By leveraging both internal and external networks, you’ll build strong talent pipelines, nurture existing talent, and ensure the right people are in the right roles ahead of business needs.
Reporting to our Head of Talent Acquisition, you’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders, providing market insight, advising on workforce planning, and shaping hiring strategies to support business growth and continuity.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for the Build & Paragon business units
- Source and engage candidates using LinkedIn, social media, job boards, AI tools, talent pools, and other innovative channels
- Transform the recruitment function from reactive hiring to proactive talent attraction
- Advise stakeholders on interview strategy, selection methods, and assessments
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future needs
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market insights and competitor intelligence
- Promote Tilbury Douglas’ employer brand to attract diverse, high-quality talent
- Report on recruitment metrics to continuously improve quality, speed, and efficiency
- Manage relationships with external recruitment partners and utilise them when appropriate
- Contribute to early careers attraction programmes, strengthening diversity across our talent pipeline and supporting wider social value commitments
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to enhance team productivity
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Construction industry experience
- Expertise in proactive sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and social media
- Excellent stakeholder management and consultative skills
- Passion for candidate experience, employer branding, and inclusive recruitment
Desired:
- Experience leading recruitment projects and process improvement
- Data-driven, with the ability to use metrics to influence hiring strategies
The role may be based from any of our Regional Build or Paragon offices (Birmingham, Coalville, London, or Wigan), with a flexible hybrid working model and occasional travel to engage closely with business partners across the organisation.
In return we offer:
Join Tilbury Douglas and enjoy a competitive salary, a car allowance, and 26 days of annual leave - with the option to buy or sell up to three extra days, increasing with long service. Stay well with private medical insurance (including optional family cover) and life assurance, and plan for the future with a generous pension scheme matched up to 8%. We also offer a flexible benefits and perks platform. It’s a package designed to reward your hard work and support you every step of the way.
It is our people who make Tilbury Douglas a success. We believe our inclusive culture encourages new ways of thinking, enabling us to innovate whilst remaining resilient. We value and celebrate all individual differences and look forward to receiving your application.
