The Building Services Manager supports the construction team in the successful delivery of building services across all project phases. Working closely with the Project Director and Project Manager, you will contribute to the coordination, installation, and commissioning of building services packages, ensuring delivery to agreed time, cost, and quality standards.
What you will be doing:
- Support tendering activities including reviewing employer’s requirements, subcontractor returns, and contributing to technical input.
- Assist with pre-construction activities including design coordination, validations, and technical submissions.
- Work with project teams to ensure building services are coordinated with other trades.
- Provide input on buildability, programme, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate building services during construction through design reviews, site inspections, and progress meetings.
- Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Support management of programme updates, technical queries, and client changes.
- Assist with commissioning activities, ensuring systems are delivered in line with project requirements.
- Support project close-out including documentation, snagging, and handover requirements.
- Provide support during post-handover and aftercare periods.

- Experience within building services or construction project delivery.
- Understanding of design coordination and construction processes.
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks within a live project environment.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within project teams.
- Relevant technical or construction-related qualification (desirable).
- Experience working within a contractor or consultancy environment (desirable).
- Full UK driving licence.
