The Assistant Information Manager supports the consistent and compliant delivery of information across regional projects. Working closely with the Regional Information Manager, you will help translate national standards into practical application, supporting governance, digital delivery, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
What you will be doing
- Support the implementation of national Information Management standards across regional projects, including policies, IMPs, CDE protocols, and naming conventions.
- Assist with project mobilisation, ensuring CDE, Microsoft Teams, and IMS structures are set up correctly.
- Provide day-to-day support and guidance to project teams, promoting Information Management best practice.
- Work with Document Controllers to support consistent application of standards across projects.
- Assist with audits and assurance checks, identifying risks, non-compliance, and areas for improvement.
- Support coordination with the CDE Coordinator to ensure alignment with national standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing feedback, lessons learned, and supporting system enhancements.
- Assist in the delivery of regional and national Information Management initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings and support collaboration across the business.
What we need from you
- Experience in Document Control, Information Management, or a similar role within construction.
- Basic understanding of Common Data Environments (CDE), ideally with exposure to Dalux or Asite.
- Awareness of BS EN ISO 19650 (or willingness to learn).
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn.
