We are seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join our Regional Build Work Winning team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the successful acquisition of new business by producing high-quality, compliant and compelling bid submissions across a diverse range of construction opportunities.
Working closely with Bid Managers and colleagues across our Regional Build business, you will play an important role in developing client-focused submissions that demonstrate Tilbury Douglas' expertise, experience and commitment to delivering successful outcomes for our clients.
As our Bid Writer, you will:
- Produce high-quality written responses for Selection Questionnaires (SQs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), framework submissions and other work-winning opportunities.
- Collaborate with operational, commercial and technical teams to gather information and develop engaging, client-focused bid content.
- Prepare and maintain project case studies, capability statements, team CVs and supporting submission documentation.
- Proofread and edit bid submissions to ensure they are accurate, compliant and presented to the highest standard.
- Support the continuous improvement of our regional bid library and contribute to the development of high-quality work-winning content.
About You
You will be an organised and detail-oriented bid professional with excellent written communication skills and a passion for producing high-quality submissions. You will bring:
- Experience as a Bid Writer, Proposal Writer or in a similar role, ideally within the construction, engineering or infrastructure sector.
- Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience of Adobe InDesign, public sector procurement or framework submissions would be advantageous.
