We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Proposal Coordinator to join our Regional Preconstruction team, supporting a £100m turnover business operating across Yorkshire and the North East. This is a key role within our work-winning function, supporting the preparation and coordination of high-quality bids across a variety of sectors including health, education, defence, and infrastructure.
You will play a central role in ensuring the smooth running of the bid process, coordinating information, maintaining systems, and supporting the production of compelling submissions that help secure new business opportunities.
As our Proposal Coordinator, you will:
- Support the production and coordination of bid and prequalification responses, including EOIs, PQQs, SQs, and tender submissions.
- Manage and maintain bid documentation, trackers, and internal information libraries to ensure accurate and up-to-date content is available at all times.
- Complete selection questionnaires using standard company information and support the development of tailored responses.
- Work closely with bid managers, estimators, and operational teams to gather technical content, case studies, and project information.
- Manage client procurement portals and upload/download bid documentation in line with deadlines and compliance requirements.
About You
You will be a highly organised and proactive individual with experience supporting bids or working within a construction or professional services environment.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in a similar proposals, bids, or bid coordination role (essential).
- Experience managing and maintaining document libraries, templates, and bid content systems.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
- Experience using InDesign (essential) and familiarity with bid formatting and presentation standards.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to turn technical input into clear, structured narrative.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
- Experience with client procurement portals and bid management systems.
Understanding of construction and procurement processes is desirable, and familiarity with AI tools for content development is an advantage.
