We’re hiring in Birmingham – and this is a role with real impact. Tilbury Douglas is expanding our Procurement & Supply Chain team, and we’re looking for an organised, motivated and detail-oriented professional to step into a brand-new role at a genuinely exciting time for the business. This isn’t just an admin role. You’ll be right at the heart of a function that’s evolving — supporting senior leaders while helping us move forward in digitisation, AI, sustainability and smarter ways of working.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting senior procurement leaders and the Director with high-quality executive and admin support
  • Coordinating communications across the business, supply chain and external partners
  • Managing reports, data, meetings, events and supplier engagement
  • Playing an active role in improving processes and how the team operates
  • Supporting sustainability initiatives and supplier onboarding
  • Helping ensure strong governance, compliance and financial controls

Requirements

  • Someone with proven admin or coordination experience (procurement/supply chain is a bonus)
  • Highly organised, proactive and comfortable juggling priorities
  • A confident communicator who enjoys working with people at all levels
  • Interested in sustainability, social impact and innovation
  • Tech-savvy (MS Office essential; AI / Power BI knowledge a plus)
