Regional Operations Manager Reference: 12891 The Opportunity The Regional Operations Manager reports to the Regional Director who is responsible for the South of England and South Wales Business units which include offices in London, Southampton, Clevedon and Swansea. This Role will be based in the Swansea office and will be the operational Lead for the South West Regional Business. The person will have overall responsibility for the management and success of all operations including projects, generally through Contracts Managers, but in some instances directly. This role will be supported by a Regional Senior Commercial Colleague and the Pre Construction team based in this region. What you will be doing * Safety, Health and Environmental – ensure safety risk is eliminated or reduced in construction, ensure that the company and client safety systems are set up, implemented, adhered to and reviewed at all stages. This Role should be considered as the most senior leadership role in terms of these matters in the business unit and will be expected to demonstrate the correct supporting behaviours at all times. * Operational staff resource deployment (in conjunction with Contracts Managers and Project Managers) * Team and individual development – recruiting, coaching, managing, mentoring and developing members of the project teams in their personal development; undertaking annual appraisal for direct reports; building effective project teams using the …
