We are looking to appoint an experienced Site Agent to join our Infrastructure team, supporting the successful delivery of projects across the South West Water Framework.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of projects from contract award through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with Project Managers, Contracts Managers and site teams, you will lead day-to-day operations, manage resources and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Key Duties
- Lead the safe and efficient delivery of projects, ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors and resources to deliver projects on programme and within budget.
- Monitor project progress, reporting on performance, costs and programme to the Project or Contracts Manager.
- Supervise and develop Sub Agents, General Foremen and wider site teams, promoting a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders and the wider project team to ensure successful project delivery.
About You
You will be an experienced Site Agent with a strong civil engineering background and a proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects safely and successfully.
You will bring
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Experience delivering complex infrastructure projects, ideally within the water sector or other major civil engineering environments.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety legislation and project delivery best practice.
- A valid CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid at Work and National Water Hygiene Card. Chartered status, or working towards it, is desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence
