You will work closely with the IT Support Service department to deploy and manage Windows and Mac laptops, collaborate with business lines to design VDI solutions, and provide expert support for system performance and security. Key Responsibilities: Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, ensure compliance, deploy patches, enforce security protocols, and stay updated on endpoint security trends. VDI Design and Implementation: Assess client needs, design solutions, implement VMware Horizon View, and ensure system high availability and performance. Infrastructure Optimization: Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct capacity planning. Documentation and Training: Maintain configurations documentation and provide training. Technical Expertise: Knowledge of App Volumes, Dynamic Environment Manager, Horizon TrueSSO, and UAGs. Client Interaction: Build relationships and understand evolving IT needs. Endpoint Support: Configure endpoints, collaborate with IT support, and resolve endpoint issues. Minimum Qualifications: 4+ years experience with Horizon virtual desktops. Understanding of device management technologies like Workspace One, Apple Business Manager, VMware Horizon View, vSphere, VMware Cloud on AWS. Experience with Windows Desktop OS, AWS services (EC2, VPC, ELB, R53, RDS, IAM). Knowledge of endpoint security, automated provisioning, troubleshooting, storage technologies, and networking. Preferred Qualifications: Scripting skills (PowerShell). Familiarity with cloud VDI solutions. VMware certifications (VCP-DTM, VCAP-DTM). Knowledge of Windows, macOS, iOS, Android internals.
