UK Logistics Ops Lead: End-to-End Courier & 3PL Network

The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated. We're currently seeking a Logistics Network Planning and Quality Control Manager to join our Europe Logistics Operations team, responsible for CBT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the logistics operation in the UK, including (but not limited) to import clearance, courier delivery, warehouse fulfillment, reverse logistics, reverse warehouse; Responsible for end-to-end logistics performance from order created until delivered in different logistics modes;
• Building and managing key strategic relationships with Key Sellers, 3PLs, and Logistics Providers;
• As the owner of SOP, responsible for operation performance indicator (KPI), deep diving into the root cause of issues, providing feedback on expected solutions and business impact, offering short-term solutions/support to the business before long-term fixes are in place, and driving results until change deployment;
• Conducting market and industry research, developing operation plans to address issues and hedge risks caused by market or policy changes if needed;
• Managing day-to-day operations and local couriers operations, tracking record of high performance and team improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably with engineering, logistics transportation, or operations management background;
• Excellent understanding of any segment of logistics operation, including (but not limited to) data integration, first mile pickup, parcel sorting, linehaul, courier delivery, return process, and import clearance;
• Solid working experience and relationships in 4PL/3PL management, preferably with courier(s) in the UK market;
• Self-motivated and results-driven, analytical, data-sensitive and data-driven;

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid working experience in platform logistics in the UK, with deep understanding and working relationships with local major courier companies;
• Fair understanding of e-commerce marketplace operation and governance policy;
• Able to do short-term business travel within the UK;
