b Overview /b p In this role you will act as the primary AML/CTF compliance focal point for the local entity, aligning with EU/UK regulations. You will oversee AML/CFT risk management and regulatory interactions, supporting the TikTok AML/CTF Officer. The role combines governance, policy adaptation for local markets, and strong engagement with regulators and law enforcement. You will drive improvements to controls, risk assessments, and reporting, enabling a safe, seamless platform experience for users, creators, and merchants. This is a senior control function that shapes compliance across payments activities and new monetization initiatives. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Act as MLRO equivalent for EU/UK entities and oversee AML/CFT per local requirements /li li Be the primary contact for regulators, law enforcement, and external auditors on AML/CFT matters /li li Lead responses to regulatory inspections, audits, and supervisory reviews and manage remediation /li li Provide AML/CFT risk reporting and advice to Senior Management and governance committees /li li Oversee Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment focusing on social media, product, customer, and geographic risks /li li Adapt global AML/CTF policies to local laws and operational realities /li li Support design and ongoing effectiveness of the AML/CFT control framework (CDD, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, STRs, record-keeping) /li li Calibrate AML/CFT controls to product flows and customer risk profiles /li li Identify emerging risks and drive policy, systems, and governance improvements /li li Collaborate on Compliance by Design for new monetization features /li li Provide AML/CFT guidance to cross-functional teams on EU/UK requirements /li li Advise on product approvals, market expansions, and change initiatives regarding AML/CFT risk /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 10+ years of AML/CFT compliance experience in payments/fintech /li li Designated MLRO or equivalent senior AML function with regulatory accountability /li li Experience engaging with UK/EU regulators and law enforcement, including regulatory examinations /li li Strong understanding of payments ecosystem, products, transaction flows, and related risks /li li Experience conducting enterprise-wide AML/CFT risk assessments and developing policies/procedures /li li Ability to oversee policy design, control frameworks, and due diligence programs /li /ul ul li leadership /li li decision-making /li li stakeholder-management /li li CDD (customer due diligence) /li li transaction monitoring /li li sanctions screening /li /ul
