Overview
Procurement Specialist – General Services
Procurement aims to provide high-quality purchasing solutions for the company and establish a global platform for purchasing resources. Through providing professional management of procurement resources, selecting high-quality suppliers, and managing supplier performance, we aim to improve the efficiency, cost-effectiveness and compliance of the company\’s procurement practices, fostering a sustainable business environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage category spend and business requests in Europe, Middle East and Africa, including supplier qualification, selection/sourcing, SOW and SLA and KPI performance management.
- Manage procurement end-to-end operational activities to handle PR/Acceptance/Payment to suppliers.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and be responsible for internal compliance, cost saving, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to continuously optimize procurement processes to reflect market reality while delivering procurement efficiency.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities; provide insights that benefit stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, ethical standards, and company policies in all procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; minimum 2 years of solid procurement experience with strong negotiation and contract management skills; good communication and negotiation ability; strong data analytical and logical reasoning ability; ability to manage ambiguity, conflict, and change in a fast-moving environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree; experience managing a full procurement lifecycle in a global organisation; professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, PMP, Six Sigma); knowledge of procurement regulations, best practices, and market trends in the EMEA region; familiarity with procurement software/tools such as Ariba and Coupa.
