Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for passionate and talented people to join our product and operations team, to build an e-commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure and intuitive for our users and brands.
  • We’re looking for an enthusiastic and curious intern to join our Governance & Experience team. This internship is designed to give you broad exposure to how we govern the TikTok Shop platform and protect the user experience across a fast-growing and dynamic e-commerce business.
  • You’ll support ongoing projects, contribute to research, assist with data analysis, and work with cross-functional teams to help us design, test, or improve systems and processes.
  • As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment.
  • This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree, available to start internship immediately, for at least 3 months.
  • Strong interest in digital platforms, user experience, or trust & safety.
  • Analytical mindset — able to work with data and draw insights.
  • Clear communicator — able to summarise findings and collaborate effectively.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiar with E-commerce compliance requirements and internet governance management, with a certain level of business sensitivity and risk awareness is preferred.
  • Relevant experience; experience in e-commerce, content moderation, natural language processing (NLP), or LLM prompt design is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) with the ability to drive decisions through data insights.
