The Global Monetization Strategy & Operations (MSO) organization is essential to enabling TikTok's advertising business growth. We partner with business leaders in strategy setting and insights, revenue planning, sales & client incentive policy-making, driving operational effectiveness in tooling and sales processes, and ensuring productive and fruitful partnerships cross‑functionally. The Monetisation Strategy & Operations Manager will be joining the Central Planning and Projects team within the EUI MSO team. It will be at the intersection of strategy setting, product research, data analytics, and project management to gain a deep understanding of our business and product, uncover growth opportunities, and lead execution in collaboration with sales and cross‑functional partners.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key partner to our sales & product leadership teams focusing on various advertiser segments through providing insights, driving actions & influencing business outcomes.
- Identify revenue opportunities and translate them into concrete go‑to‑market levers by conducting rigorous quantitative & qualitative analysis, as well as developing deep business, product & market understanding; drive cross‑functional programs based on the levers identified, track progress and measure impact.
- Drive business planning on a comprehensive EUI lens to include target setting, forecasting, business reviews & analysis, identifying new opportunities.
- Lead market research on industry trends, business models, competitor benchmarking, as well as ad products and emerging tech to generate new insights and develop growth strategies.
- Partner with sales leadership and cross‑functional teams to implement strategies and programs, track progress and measure impact.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration through cultivating and maintaining strong working relationships with critical business partners.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a growth environment, management consulting, investment banking, tech platforms, etc.
- Experience using data to create compelling stories that communicate key messages across the organization and to influence various levels of management decision‑making.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with data visualization software, BI tools, or SQL is a plus.
- Experience in media, digital advertising, business intelligence, revenue strategy/operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with major sales CRM platforms (e.g. SalesForce), Order Management Systems (Operative, FatTail, Prisma, etc.) and Ads Platforms (Google Ads Manager, Facebook, etc.) is a plus.
- Fast learner, ability to independently multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with various internal teams, including Finance, Sales, Systems, and Product.
