About the team: TikTok Shop is an e-commerce platform fully integrated into TikTok. This role will own local Shopping Center channel operations and growth strategy, with a primary focus on product incubation, user operations, campaign operations, and local market execution. The ideal candidate has solid e-commerce or platform operations experience, a deep understanding of the UK consumers and the e-commerce landscape, and the ability to turn data insights into actionable business strategies. You will work closely with multiple cross‑functional teams — including Product, Algorithm, Recommendation, Category, Marketing, and central operations — to continuously improve the Shopping Center user experience and drive sustainable business growth.

  • Channel Operations: Own Shopping Center channel assortment management and subsidy strategy optimization; leverage local UK consumer trends and key category seasonal demand to identify product opportunities, develop campaign plans, and drive execution.
  • Product Incubation: Improve product cold‑start efficiency in the UK market, developing incubation strategies from the first order (0‑to‑1) through scaling (1‑to‑10), to improve product sell‑through efficiency.
  • User Operations: Optimize the user journey to improve Shopping Center visit penetration and engagement rate; design and execute refined subsidy strategies (coupon packs, BXGY, channel subsidies) and evaluate subsidy ROI; develop new customer acquisition and existing customer retention strategies to optimise full user lifecycle value.
  • Cross‑team Strategy & Execution: Partner with Product, Algorithm, Recommendation, GNE and central operations teams to identify traffic, assortment and user experience issues, and translate insights into actionable product or operational improvements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in e-commerce, marketplace, or platform operations; experience in shopping center / marketplace / platform channel operations is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the UK e‑commerce consumers, including category preferences, seasonal demand, price sensitivity, the e‑commerce landscape, and fulfillment/returns expectations.
  • Ability to build an operational data/metrics system; analyze the conversion funnel (visit → click → add‑to‑cart → order), evaluate subsidy ROI, and design A/B experiments to drive business growth.
  • Goal‑oriented with strong ownership mentality; able to independently drive projects from 0 to 1.
  • A deep understanding of the EU e‑commerce landscape is highly desirable.
  • Fast learner, proactive, and resilient, able to perform and excel in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
