About the team
The EMEA Early Careers team connects businesses with talented university students from all EMEA countries. We are responsible for providing a best‑in‑class experience for students, showcasing TikTok’s people, culture & technology through attraction & engagement activities, recruitment and innovative early career programs. Parts of this role will require support across ByteDance, as well as TikTok. ByteDance is TikTok’s parent company, whose mission is to inspire creativity and enrich life.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with HRBPs and Hiring Managers to ensure sourcing and hiring strategies are aligned with people strategies.
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to assess their talent requirements and fulfill hiring plans along with business timelines.
- Use your established networks to discover, and attract experienced, diverse, ambitious talent to join the team.
- Screen and select candidates effectively.
- Lead key initiatives and projects with the team, and other recruiting teams, that will continuously improve and scale our recruiting operations and results.
- Provide an efficient and good experience for every candidate from the application stage to offer, evaluating skill level, driving the interview process and offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations and closing of candidates.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience across various functions (e.g., product, tech, MBA, sales, marketing).
- Proven ability to use data to improve recruiting efficiency and influence decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of an organization.
- Keen attention to detail, and experience in both building and executing recruiting processes.
- Self‑starter who is results‑driven, resourceful, and curious, with a bias for action.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proactiveness and creative problem‑solving ability.
- Experience working with global teams across time zones and cultures.
