About the Team

The Global Monetization Strategy & Operations (MSO) team is a high-impact unit at the center of Tik Tok’s global advertising business.

We partner with leaders to shape strategy, set revenue plans, design incentive policies, and build the operational foundations that enable Tik Tok to scale.

Our work spans markets and functions, requiring sharp problem-solving, rigorous analysis, AI-driven thinking, and the ability to execute in complex environments.

As an MSO intern, you will join a small, high-performing team where you will be entrusted with meaningful responsibilities from day one.

You will contribute to projects with direct visibility to leadership, gain experience across multiple markets, and build a skill set at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and operations.

As a project intern, you will engage in impactful projects that provide exposure to real-world business challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver analytical reports to track KPIs, evaluate sales performance, and surface insights that shape leadership decisions.
  • Conduct research, market sizing, and analysis, translating findings into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and data-driven solutions to simplify workflows, improve productivity, and scale operational processes.
  • Support the design, testing, and rollout of AI-enabled initiatives, including use‑case discovery, impact tracking, adoption plans, and stakeholder enablement.
  • Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to identify operational bottlenecks and build scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, Technology, or a related discipline; must be enrolled for the duration of the internship.
  • Available for 3‑6 months.
  • Demonstrated analytical strength and structured problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Interest in AI, automation, digital transformation, or applying technology to solve business problems.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, work across organizational boundaries, and influence diverse stakeholders.
