This role sits in our Seller Governance team and is responsible for our seller onboarding and early risk detection for new sellers through onboarding and probation processes. We are looking for a hands-on and data driven program manager who can identify patterns in risky seller behavior and can partner with the business team to enable good sellers to grow on the platform.
This includes:
- Analyse data, identify key areas for improvement and translate into clear, concise, and impactful insights that inform the business strategy and project prioritization in the Business Requirements Document.
- Triangulate findings and insights from across different sources to scope out risky sellers.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and key stakeholders to gather requirements, design best fit solutions, and inform project timelines and resources needed.
- Build an understanding of compliance requirements for sellers and ensure these are met by current onboarding processes and build continuous improvements in seller onboarding compliance via the internal and external audit process.
- Act as a SME in Seller Governance for a specific early seller risk detection program, providing feedback to internal stakeholders (in Business, Product and other areas of Governance) on key delivery experience gaps and priorities.
- Support investigation and the development of the Seller Governance team’s internal knowledge and SOPs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Recent graduate (Bachelor's/Master's) in Business, Operations, Compliance, or related fields.
- Analytical mindset (Excel/Google Sheets, basic SQL a plus): Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive action.
- Experience in e-commerce, marketplace dynamics, and/or policy enforcement.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to impact business decisions and influence technical and non-technical audiences through analytical insight and project management.
- Strong sense of responsibility and innovation, self-driven, and results-oriented, clear logic, enjoys analysing the essence of things, and excels at systematically solving problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in E-Commerce or marketplace platforms with strong commercial acumen.
- Able to navigate through ambiguity and a fast changing environment, proven track record to thrive in a matrix environment and use hypothesis based decision making frameworks.
