Responsibilities

About the Team

The Internal Communications (IC) team within Human Resources and Management supports both company and team-level communications needs based on the size of audience, potential impact, complexity, and other relevant factors to achieve the best communications outcome: to build trust and engagement with our employees. We offer functional expertise at the enterprise level and have regional teams covering all markets (AMS, EMEA, APAC, China). This role will serve as an IC partner for Europe, working on a dynamic set of markets and priorities for various business units and company functions.

What will I do?

  • This role will focus on internal communications, working closely with leaders, HR, and teams across key business units in Europe, including TikTok, Global Business Solutions (GBS), Global Brand and Communications, Product, Technology, Government Relations, Europe Data Governance Strategy, and more.
  • Become a trusted advisor and support on how we communicate policy and management philosophies internally, serving as a key partner to Human Resources, Performance & Incentives, Organizational Culture, Employer Brand, and more.
  • Play a leadership role in regionally sensitive and confidential projects, ensuring key messages are easily understood by employees across all levels, and local market obligations are reflected and followed.
  • Drive proactive and reactive messaging regarding key moments impacting employee sentiment, with a good understanding of the European regulatory and cultural landscape.
  • Develop and deliver internal communications strategies and programming – at regional, country, and global levels – that strengthen employee engagement and build trust across the organisation.
  • Support Crisis Management Teams across European markets by developing clear, coordinated communication approaches in partnership with Physical Security and local cross‑functional teams.
  • Drive content, preparation, and logistics for regional All Hands and market-level Town Halls.
  • Collaborate with Global Internal Communications teams on company‑wide objectives and sentiment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience within Communications or a similar field.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A natural storyteller, adept at translating complex concepts for a variety of audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced in project management, executing on initiatives end‑to‑end.
  • A self‑starter who is motivated, takes initiative, is impact‑driven and works well in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience working in a multi‑cultural global organization is highly advantageous. Preferably in a fast‑moving global company.
