TikTok Shop is an innovative marketplace fully integrated into TikTok. It brings together online sellers, buyers and creators within TikTok to build a seamless shopping experience, while providing commerce solutions that enable our community to discover and engage with what they love.
As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests. Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and rollout of business policies, operational initiatives, and product feature updates for TikTok Shop.
- Assist with go-to-market execution, including stakeholder coordination, communication materials, training support, and implementation tracking.
- Build, maintain, and improve performance dashboards to track key operational metrics and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Analyze operational data and prepare clear, actionable insights to support business reviews and decision-making.
- Support the setup, configuration, and administration of merchant or client reward and incentive programs, ensuring accurate tracking and timely execution.
- Partner with Account Managers and cross-functional teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve client operational issues, helping improve client experience and process efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, E-commerce, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with experience in Excel data (pivot, formula).
- A proven ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects effectively, and work well to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
- Experience working with large amounts of data and handling operational tasks with great attention to detail.
- Able to commit to working for 12 weeks for the rest of the year (5 days a week).
- Able to work at least 20 hours a week.
- Chinese proficiency is required to effectively collaborate and communicate with Chinese-speaking clients.

- Proven client-facing experience.
- Familiarity with e-commerce markets and industry trends.
- Demonstrated experience in leading operational initiatives and delivering measurable results.
- A fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, adjust quickly to change, and work independently as well as collaboratively with diverse groups.
