About the team: TikTok Shop is an innovative marketplace fully integrated into TikTok. It brings together online sellers, buyers and creators – all within TikTok to build a one-stop, seamless shopping experience and bringing more commerce solutions that further enable our community to discover and engage with what they love. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.
- Drive product–creator/agency matchmaking between POP merchants and creators / MCNs in the UK / EU / Japan markets; co-design differentiated merchant–creator matching strategies, lift conversion efficiency, and own the GMV and hero-product volume generated through the creator channel.
- Conduct deep dual-side data analysis on both products and creators/agencies, grounded in market trends, category dynamics and consumer needs; identify and incubate potential hero products, and build an end-to-end operating mechanism covering selection → matchmaking → scaling.
- Integrate and orchestrate cross-functional resources by collaborating with Merchant Ops, in-country Creator Ops, central Marketing & Campaigns teams and external agencies, replicating successful hero-product playbooks at scale and improving POP product penetration.
- Support the planning and execution of creator/agency training sessions, online matchmaking events and similar programs to improve overall merchant–creator matchmaking efficiency.
- Help codify selection methodology and merchant–creator matchmaking SOPs for target markets, lifting operational efficiency at scale through tooling and mechanisms.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Marketing, International Business, or related fields.
- Working proficiency in English (reading & writing & speaking) – comfortable with email, social media and day-to-day professional communication.
- Strong product analysis and data-driven capabilities; able to deconstruct GMV growth pathways from complex datasets and form solid early judgment on hero-product trends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the UK / EU / Japan creator and agency ecosystem is a plus; understanding of local consumer habits and content preferences preferred.
