About the Role: Join UK's eCommerce breakthrough. TikTok Shop was the fastest-growing online retailer in the UK in 2024 & 2025 (Source NIQ Digital Purchases, Total eCommerce), and we are only accelerating as we are redefining how people discover products and shop. We are seeking a driven and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be a critical engine for our expansion. This is a high-impact, fixed-term contract where you will identify, reach out, and onboard the next wave of high-potential UK sellers. Later, you will work with these sellers to grow their GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) on our platform in close collaboration with our cross-functional teams.

The right candidate would have Sales Development acumen and experience. If you thrive on autonomy, possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, and are ready to take full ownership of high-stakes goals in an evolving, high-velocity environment, we want to hear from you. This role will focus on onboarding and incubating sellers in key TikTok Shop verticals such as FMCG and Electronics.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively conduct outbound prospecting via multi-channel (email, phone, social) outbound campaigns to source and qualify high-potential seller-partners.
  • Lead initial pitches to understand seller needs, translating the unique value of TikTok Shop into compelling, tailored propositions for them.
  • Assess seller fit to confirm potential partners, ensuring strong platform fit, identifying the seller growth strategies, and clear pathways to GMV growth.
  • Support end-to-end seller onboarding, registration, account setup, and activation of new sellers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure continued support for onboarded sellers, including merchant navigation through their growth on the platform.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly targets related to seller acquisition and seller GMV growth within a 3-6 months period.
  • Understand the TikTok Shop platform, the competition, and our unique positioning in the industry.

Minimum requirements:

  • Proven B2B Sales Acumen: Of successful B2B sales development (SDR/BDR) or full-cycle sales experience.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional command of English, both written and verbal, for external negotiations and presentations.
  • Self-Driven & Organised: Demonstrated strong time management, organisational skills, and the ability to operate autonomously in a remote-first setting.
  • Contract Commitment: Availability for a 6-12 month fixed term contract, with opportunity for extension based on impact and results.

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • eCommerce experience: Previous direct experience within a high-growth eCommerce, online marketplace, or platform business is a strong advantage.
  • Startup passion: Experience operating effectively within a hyper-scaling, fluid, or startup-like environment.

Compensation: Refer to the general rate in the local market. Discretionary incentive based on performance (Quarterly bonus for hitting key sales-related KPIs).

Work Location: Fully remote (however it will require occasional in-person meetings - we value in-person time for planning, problem solving and connecting, preferably living within commuting distance of London).

Contract Type: Immediate start from Monday January 5th, 2025. 6-12 month fixed-term contract, with opportunity for extension based on impact and results.
