Responsibilities

The TikTok Live Operations team is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager who excels at building connections and securing new business. As we grow our ecosystem, agencies and creator networks are vital to driving TikTok LIVE expansion. This role involves sourcing new agency leads, nurturing pipelines, signing new business, and onboarding signed agencies. You will play a key role in fostering strategic, long-term relationships with LIVE agencies and creator networks across the UK to increase LIVE business revenue.

As part of the Europe Regional Operations Team, the TikTok LIVE Business Development Manager is crucial for securing sustainable growth. Your focus will be on expanding our network of LIVE agency partners to promote LIVE education to creators and ensure a steady flow of high-quality content and interactions.

Responsibilities

  1. Strategy:
    • Identify new business opportunities, including lead sources, potential agencies, partnerships, or new products/services that can benefit TikTok LIVE and generate revenue.
    • Develop strategies to effectively reach and secure these opportunities.
  2. Lead Generation:
    • Source new agency prospects, focusing on existing agencies, entrepreneurs, creators, and networks.
    • Utilize LinkedIn, social media, email, events, conferences, and AI automation to generate leads.
    • Manage and maintain your pipeline, qualify prospects, and ensure data hygiene.
  3. Pitching:
    • Present the TikTok LIVE Creator Networks program to new prospects.
    • Convince qualified prospects to join the program and become partners.
  4. Onboarding:
    • Build strong relationships with new agency partners for long-term collaboration.
    • Facilitate onboarding to quickly make agencies operational and revenue-generating.
    • Achieve quarterly partnership targets and report on your pipeline to leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of industry experience, preferably in live-streaming, social media, entertainment, tech, or startups.
  • Proven sales and business development success within social media, tech, or B2B sectors, focusing on SMBs/SMEs.
  • Experience in creating compelling proposals and demonstrating value propositions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt quickly, and maintain focus on goals.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a talent for building long-term relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Experience analyzing sales data and using CRM/analytics tools.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Team-oriented mindset, with a drive for high performance and collective success.
