Role Description The Head Futsal Coach will lead the planning and delivery of training sessions for U4-U12 teams, ensuring age-appropriate, engaging, and progressive coaching. Responsibilities include designing session plans, teaching technical and tactical aspects of futsal, overseeing matchday preparation, and coaching teams in tournaments and Youth Futsal League fixtures. The role involves supervising assistant coaches, providing individual feedback to players, and maintaining clear communication with parents and guardians about player progress and schedules. The Head Coach will promote a safe, inclusive environment, uphold club values, and support talent identification and long-term player development. This is a part-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom.
Qualifications
- Strong futsal and/or football coaching skills, including planning and delivering age-appropriate training sessions for children.
- Experience working with young players (U4-U12), with the ability to manage groups and adapt coaching methods to different skill levels.
- Knowledge of futsal rules, tactics, and player development principles, ideally with experience in competitive leagues or tournaments.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with players, parents, and staff.
- Commitment to safeguarding and player welfare, including adherence to child protection and health and safety standards.
- Relevant coaching certifications (e.g., futsal or football coaching badges) and first aid training are highly beneficial.
- Organizational skills to manage schedules, training plans, and matchday logistics in a part-time capacity.
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to work on-site in the London Area.
