We are seeking to recruit an Analyst to join our London-based UK & Ireland Direct Lending team. The successful candidate will support the team across origination, execution, portfolio monitoring, and investor communication activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and entrepreneurial junior professional looking to build a career in direct lending within the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review information packs as part of the initial screening of new investment opportunities, ahead of discussion at team level;
  • With the support of senior team members, participate in the due diligence process for transactions presented to the Investment Committee, including the preparation of financial models and credit memoranda;
  • With the support of senior team members, contribute to the negotiation and execution of legal documentation;
  • Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with private equity firms, advisers, and banks;
  • Monitor portfolio companies by analyzing monthly reporting, engaging regularly with management teams, and preparing internal updates as well as investor reporting materials;
  • Support regular communication and engagement with investors across dedicated funds and SMAs.

Profile

  • 1+ years of experience in corporate finance, transaction services, private equity/private debt, or investment banking;
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with solid knowledge of financial analysis, accounting, and financial modelling;
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint;
  • A genuine interest in building a career focused on the UK market, with an emerging network among local stakeholders, including sponsors and advisers;
  • Fluent in English; an additional European language would be an advantage;
  • Flexible, proactive, detail-oriented, and equipped with strong communication skills;
  • Comfortable adopting new tools and technologies, with a mindset geared toward identifying innovative solutions and helping embed AI-driven approaches into team processes and workflows.
